Become a Member, Supporter or Sponsor of the Friends of the GSWW
The Friends of the Great South West Walk is not for profit organisation that is largely self funded. We depend on members, supporters and sponsors’ contributions, sales of merchandise, donations and government grants. We also gratefully receive, from Parks Victoria, some financial and administrative assistance.
By becoming a Member, Supporter or Sponsor you enable the many volunteers of the Friends GSWW to maintain, upgrade and promote the 262km Walk. Your support is greatly appreciated in assisting the volunteer effort making the GSWW an Australian iconic walk enjoyed by locals and the broader community.
Member: Active Volunteer Category which includes committee members, track maintenance crews, walking groups, volunteers at landcare and school sessions and other working bees.
Supporter: Non-membership category (does not require insurance cover)
Friends Supporter – not active as a volunteer and not participating in recreational walks or any working bees.
Business / Corporate / Schools Sponsor – Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum (acknowledged in members’ E-News, on this website and at Friends events)
Please note: Only Members will be covered by insurance and have voting rights.
All Members, Supporters and Sponsors will continue to receive newsletters, invitations to events and information re the GSWW.
