Volunteers have been running and maintaining the GSWW since its start. Would you like to join our wonderful volunteers, and help us continue this legacy? We do need your help.

There are many ways to assist.

• Walk maintenance – equipment upkeep, walk signage, boardwalks, barriers,lookouts, campsites, trimming and mowing, surface upgrades and construction of new infrastructure.

• Funding – grant applications, managing donations, seeking sponsorship and corporate membership.

• Promotion and Publicity – website updates, social media posts, articles for Members’ Newsletter and the Portland Observer, producing the annual calendar, merchandise sales, updating signage and assisting with events.

• Recreational Walking Groups – twice monthly walks, an annual supported walk, occasional overnight camping walks and walks for special events.
