Post a parcel to yourself: Your Name, c/o Nelson Visitor Information Centre, Leake St, Nelson, 3292 . They are happy to accept food parcels and will also pick up parcels from the Post Office on people's behalf.

Some Strive meals, biscuits, nuts & insect repellent, gas canisters, and some medical supplies. No fresh food
Nelson Roadhouse Also the Post Office
Some dried noodles, flour, and oil — geared more toward car campers than hikers. Also has sandwiches, ice creams, and Bain Marie food.
Nelson Hotel
Some dried biscuits, nuts, chips, and pasta, plus fresh sandwiches, some locally grown veggies, ice creams, and yoghurt. They will make up food and serve meals if organised in advance.
