* GSWW Long Autumn Walk 2026
Each year we host a Group Long Walk in Autumn with this year’s walk fully booked.
Bookings for the 2027 Long Walk will open June 1st 2026, offered first to members.
* GSWW Half-Lap Spring Walk 2025
In Spring we are offering a Half-Lap Spring Walk leaving from Portland and walking clockwise to Nelson along the cliffs and capes of Cape Grant, Cape Nelson and Cape Bridgewater, through Mt. Richmond National Park and along the beach of Discovery Bay.
With only 12 spaces they will fill quickly, again offered to members first.
The 7 day / 6 night walk will be held Sunday 22nd Nov – Saturday 28th Nov 2026.

* Bushwalking Victoria's Federation Walk will be held this year on the Great South West Walk.
The Friends Group is hosting this event on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October 2026.

The Recreational Walks team has an exciting walks program for 2026. Due to high interest in walks we are now hosting walks Mondays (16-22km), Thursdays (10-16km) and Saturdays (5-10km). The program is now available on the ‘Walks’ page. Interested walkers are invited to join us – the groups are friendly, supportive and walk together. We hope to see you out on the GSWW sometime soon.
