COBBOBOONEE FOREST: Cut Out Camp will be closed from 5 October 2026 until February 2027 while repairs are undertaken on Ralph’s Bridge. During this period, Parks Victoria will install a toilet and water supply at Surry Ridge Picnic Ground, which will be available as an alternative campsite for walkers.
There will be no access across Ralph’s Bridge during this period. Walkers should follow diversion signage around this section. The detour is on gravel roads, within the forest, for about 7km. Adding 4km to the Cubby’s to Surry Ridge Picnic Ground section. detour map.
